Handcrafted in Peru from 100% Baby Alpaca wool, this hoodie is naturally warm, lightweight, breathable, and beautifully cozy.

Alpaca fiber has excellent thermal properties: it helps keep you warm when temperatures drop while remaining breathable and comfortable to wear.

The extra-large hood gives the piece its distinctive character – somewhere between everyday comfort and ceremonial clothing. Made for slow mornings, walks in nature, travel, gatherings, or simply wrapping yourself in warmth.

Please note: Despite its name, Baby Alpaca does not come from baby animals. The term refers to especially fine alpaca fibers, traditionally selected for their softness and quality.

Shipibo-Conibo Embroidery

This hoodie can also be commissioned as a one-of-a-kind piece with original Shipibo-Conibo embroidery, created by Indigenous artists from the Peruvian Amazon.

The Shipibo-Conibo people traditionally live along the Ucayali River and its surrounding regions. Their visual tradition includes Kené – intricate geometric designs deeply connected to Shipibo-Conibo culture, knowledge, and ways of seeing the world.

Kené was recognized as Cultural Heritage of Peru in 2008.

By bringing this textile tradition together with our Baby Alpaca pieces, each embroidered hoodie becomes a unique collaboration between different Peruvian textile traditions.

Care

Alpaca wool naturally requires less frequent washing than many other fibers.

Air your hoodie regularly and wash only when necessary. Hand wash gently in cold water using a mild wool detergent. Do not wring or tumble dry. Reshape and lay flat to dry.
