The Shipibo-Conibo people live along the Ucayali River in the Peruvian Amazon.
Their art, known as Kené, consists of sacred geometric patterns inspired by nature. Traditionally created by local women using ancestral techniques, each pattern carries deep cultural meaning.
Since 2008, Kené has been recognized as the Cultural Heritage of Peru.
Wearing these designs is more than wearing art.
It is a way of honoring one of the world’s living Indigenous traditions.
